Custom Web & Software Development

Custom Web & Software Development

As passionate entrepreneurs, we emphasize in the software development process the direct interaction with end-users, discovering their true needs and pains, and delivering solutions that exceed their expectations.

We like to de-risk software development projects by having a constant input from end users that gradually validate that the development goes in the right direction. This four step approach enables minimizing the investment at each stage and increases chances of the product success:

  1. Validation of basic business requirements directly with the customer's clients - this typically involves a simple clickable mock-up or proof-of-concept, which is more cost-effective than software development and validates internal assumptions.

  2. Creation of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the software, followed by further validation with actual end-users. This step further de-risks the project.

  3. In some cases, if feasible and valuable for development, we may set up pilot projects using the MVP with actual customers.

  4. Finally, if the feedback is positive and stakeholders wish to proceed, we set up a full project to develop the final product.

The diagram below outlines the interconnectedness of business modelling and product development we practice.

We tend to discourage companies from undertaking full-scope software/digitalization projects without thoroughly validating end-users' needs.

A typical customer engagement can vary from leading a team of developers, acting as the Product Owner or Scrum Master, to defining the scope of work from customer interviews or stepping into the full project leadership role, including stakeholder management.
