Automation Assessment

Purpose

The purpose of the Automation Assessment (AA) is to assist prefabricators in finding the best path towards automation that aligns with their strategic vision. The AA takes a customer-centric approach, addressing the root causes of customer challenges and providing tailored solutions, which may include full, partial, or no automation of their production lines. Our goal is to efficiently resolve your factory pain points and help you achieve the desired outcomes.

Process

The Automation Assessment is a three-step process oriented around your specific factory needs:

1. Our team will visit your factory for up to 2 days to understand your objectives and observe the product flow. We will conduct interviews with relevant stakeholders to gain insight into your operations.

2. During our visit, we will use 3D scanning technology to create a virtual model of your current plant setup. This model will be used to identify potential areas for improvement and automation.

3. Based on the data collected, we will provide recommendations for optimizing your plant operations and present a written report with visualizations of the current and proposed states. Additionally, you will have free access to our online platform where you can explore the 3D models of your plants.

Value

Upon completion of the assessment, you will gain valuable insights that can be used to improve your facility. Firstly, you will receive a 3D model of your entire facility that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as analyzing flow, reviewing assets, and brainstorming potential scenarios. Secondly, the Automation Assessment report will provide an overview of your current production setup and offer suggestions for implementing automation. In some cases, it may be determined that no automation is necessary, but rather, improvements to your current setup, such as additional training, may be recommended.
